This snack point in the historical city center of Bogota is a place to go! It is a tiny eatery which has been operating since 1816 and where locals and foreigners meet for their Hot Chocolate (without milk!), Sweet Treats, Tamales and Ajiaco (which is a Colombian corn soup).
I went only for the sweet treats, but the Tamales and Ajiaco looked delicious as well!
I also took the Hot Chocolate which came very traditional with bread, an Almojabana (a corn dumpling made with cheese) and cheese to put in the chocolate, which is the Colombian way of having the Hot Chocolate and it is very delicious!!!
I definitely recommed to visit this place. Next time I’m in Bogota, I’ll return for the Ajiaco!
Where? Calle 11 No 6-50, Bogota
This looks delicious. Definitely writing this down for when I’m there in a month or so!
You definitely should! And the Ajiaco really seems worth to try!
