Strelka Bar. I had my best Moscow’s breakfast at this place… but you can of course also enjoy it for lunch and dinner or party at the rooftop bar with a good view on the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
As I have tried these once, I can definitely recommend:
Poached eggs with salmon and sauce hollandaise on a crispy potato rösti,
honey roasted granola on greek yogurt with vanilla poached figs,
lemon tarte
and the very best Sirniki, which are Russian quark pancakes that you usually eat for breakfast. The Sirniki were accompanied as usual by sour cream and – that is unusal but very tasty – a white chocolate sauce.
But I’m also sure that every other item on the menu is good as well!
