Moscow can do cakes! I swear! Many places reminded me of French coffee places, e.g. Cafe Pushkin. However, there are also places which have a more cosmopolitan style and one of those had really tasty popsicles, coffee & cakes: Conversation Cafe. The cake I have tried – I forgot its name – had pecanut, chocolate and two kind of cream. It was quite expensive – but also big, so I had to take a doggy bag home. By the way, unlike in Germany doggy bags are quite popular in Russia – even with the more splendid restaurants you’ll see people asking for doggy bags.
The cake went well with the White Chocolate Latte that I had ordered amd it was topped with minced pecanuts, first time that I had a Latte this way – nice! Note: It is more a place for the younger generation, but I recommend to do a stop and enjoy the cakes that are such sweet joys!
