The last two weeks have been quite busy again. So I missed to update this blog and I am trying to bring you up to speed with my new food encounters. So, 8 days ago I was feeling so exhausted that I didn’t want to go out (on a Saturday!), but friends convinced me to join them for just 1-2h at nero. I’m glad I did, as this was another “new” to me. Even though this place already exists for sometime it was unknown to me until this evening. Located between Isartor and Gärtnerplatz (roughly speaking), nero has two storeys and is huge for a usual pizza place. Well, its pizza and meat that you can eat there. As it was already 10:30 when I arrived and I couldn’t eat more, I shared half a pizza with my friend. We tried pizza Sfilacci with Stracchino cream cheese and air dried horse meat. It was good – especially the pairing of the Stracchino with the dried meat. Pricing with 13.50 € reasonable for the special topping. The place itself is a good place to have an uncomplicated and relaxed evening with a group of people. Due to the long tables there is easily enough place for 10 friends (or even more) at same time. The service was quick, friendly and attentive – as it should be.

Next time I’ll try the meat and let you know…
